They are part of Resist Net, which resists the current administration's effort to turn the USA into a socialist state. This particular group regards gun rights under attack in that process. I've been a member of this group for quite a while, and they are one of the Good Guys.

The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution guarantees U.S. citizens the right to keep and bear arms--a fact that was upheld by the Supreme Court when it declared that the D.C. gun ban was unconstitutional. The Founding Fathers codified the right to keep and bear arms into the Bill of Rights in order to protect themselves from a tyrannous federal government. History has shown that taking way the people's arms and making it an offense to keep them was the strategy used by tyrants to eliminate resistance and suppress political opponents. Self-defense is a central component of the right enumerated in the 2nd Amendment.
