Is YOUR FFL dealer diming you out??

It's the most wonderful time of the year... and during various holiday seasons, we expect employers and vendors to have special holiday celebrations and games.

How about this for an idea. I work for a 7-11 and we have a Slurpee selling contest. We don't want to offend anyone about Christmas, or Hannukah or Kwanzaa, so we will make it an Oktoberfest contest. Whoever sells the most Slurpees during Oktoberfest gets a prize! A trip to the Bahamas for the best Slurpee salesman. The winner, of course, will be required to prove that he sold all those Slurpees by providing a list of names of everyone who bought a Slurpee during the period of 10/4/10 through 11/30/10.

That sounds like fun, except for one thing. How on earth could he get the names and addresses of all those people? No one is required to provide that information to buy a Slurpee.

Yeah, you are right. That doesn't sound like a good idea after all. It would violate the privacy of your customers, among other things.

OK, I have another idea. Let's have a gun selling contest and we will give $25 to everyone who makes a photocopy of the 4473 and mails this private, personal, legally required information it to the manufacturer.
