LOS ANGELES --- School officials and law enforcement authorities are warning parents about a dangerous new Internet fad gaining popularity among teenagers: Lighting yourself on fire with Axe Body Spray. One school district in Washington State recently expelled six students for engaging in the risky activity.

A report airing on KTLA Los Angeles Tuesday night showed the stunt involving teens using Axe Body Spray to light themselves, their friends and objects on fire. Sprayed over an open flame, the high alcohol content of the popular body spray easily ignites, turning it into a makeshift mini flame thrower.

The prank is so popular, social networking websites like Facebook have groups dedicated to it. A number of teens are posting videos of the stunts on YouTube: http://bit.ly/aOq5lS

We find it interesting that this one is being blamed on the internet, or maybe blamed on FaceBook. If they were playing with guns, the story would be very different, don't you agree? So our question is this: what should be done to stop this dangerous behavior, and by whom? Is it a crime? Is it a Federal crime?
