And another gun owner fired from his job

<blockquote>
"The first thing I tried to do was dial 911 but I couldn't get it done," Hoven said. "Within seconds he was over the counter. And I'm looking at the wrong end of a 9-millimeter (gun). He was holding it gangster-style" - sideways.
</blockquote>

So says the Herald Palladium at http://www.heraldpalladium.com/articles/2011/05/18/local_news/4820927.txt

We read that the man tried to accommodate the police and politicians who tell us "not to take the law into our own hands", whatever that means, yet when he tried to call 911 he was unable, and by the time the police did show up, all the action was over.

Having said that, once the cleanup was done, now comes OSHA and says that the gun owner was creating an unsafe workplace by being armed.

This story shows a cascade of errors, by our duly elected government, which is supposed to be of/by/for the people, but instead, has failed to be effective in its sole purpose for existence. The only question is now: what are you going to do about it?
